CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1447 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF <br /> pT~ASANTON TO PREZONE AN APPROXIMATELY 48.4 ACRE <br /> SITE LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF FOOTHITs. ROAD, <br /> OPPOSITE OAK CREEK DRIVE, TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT) - LOW/RURAL DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br /> DISTRICT ( 33 ACRES ) , AND THE "A" (AGRICULTURAL) <br /> DISTR~CT (15 ACRES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 21, 1989, the City <br /> Council initiated prezoning of the Lemoine property <br /> totalling approximately 48.4 acres located on the <br /> west side of Foothill Road, opposite Oak Creek <br /> Drive, as shown in Exhibit "A"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a <br /> negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> January 2, 1990; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the proposed <br /> prezoning; and <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City Council <br /> on January 2, 1990, at which time all pertinent <br /> testimony and documents were reviewed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed zoning <br /> districts are in conformance with the General <br /> Plan. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the application of the City of <br /> Pleasanton (Case RZ-89-19) to prezone an <br /> approximately 48.4 acre site located on the west <br /> side of Foothill Road, opposite Oak Creek Drive, to <br /> the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Low/Rural <br /> Density Residential District (33 acres), and the <br /> "A" (Agricultural) District (15 acres). <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, <br /> designating and dividing the City into zoning <br /> districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map <br /> #380, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated <br /> January 2, 1990, and incorporated herein by <br /> reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
