CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1453 ORDINANCE REZONINGTHE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 417 SyCAMORE ROADAS FILED BY TRI-MESA DEVELOPMENT COMPANY UNDER CASE RZ-89-17 WHEREAS, Tri-Mesa Development Company has applied to rezone an approximately 50,250 sq. ft. parcel located at 417 Sycamore Road from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the R-1-6500, R-1-8500, R-l-10,000 (Single-familY Residential) District or to any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on February 6, 1990; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the proposed rezoning; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this proposal is consistent with the with applicable General Plan policies and will provide for development compatible with the health, safety, and general welfare of the area. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Rezones an approximately 50,250 sq. ft. parcel located at 417 Sycamore Road from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the R-1-8500 and R-l-10,000 Districts as shown on the map entitled Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map 382, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated February 20, 1990, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3. The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of ' Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. Section ..... 4 This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri-Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton.
