CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1457 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE APPROVING CASE PUD-90-01, THE <br /> APPLICATION OF ALAMEDA COUNTY FOR <br /> REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Alameda County has applied to prezone to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density <br /> Residential District a roughly 25 acre site and to <br /> approve a development plan for the site consisting <br /> of 126 single-family detached lots, 26 paired <br /> single-family lots, and a 2.7 acre park addition to <br /> Meadows park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the property is located south of 1-580, east of <br /> existing development along Ballantyne Drive and <br /> Stacey Way, and north of existing development along <br /> Park Place; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was approved for the <br /> Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan previously adopted <br /> by City Council on October 3, 1990 which evaluated <br /> the effects of this proposed project. There have <br /> been no changes in the project nor new information <br /> concerning possible environmental effects. Those <br /> mitigation measures required by the Specific Plan <br /> have been incorporated into the conditions of <br /> approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendation for approval of the proposed <br /> prezoning and development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly notice public hearing was held on March 20, <br /> 199~; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that (1) the proposed <br /> prezoning is consistent with the General and <br /> Stoneridge Drive Specific Plans, and (2) that the <br /> development plan is consistent with the goals and <br /> policies of the General and Specific Plans and the <br /> purposes of the PUD District. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately <br /> 25 acre site located south of 1-580, east of <br /> existing development along Ballantyne Drive and <br /> Stacey Way, and north of California Place <br /> subdivision to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br /> Medium Density Residential District. <br /> <br /> <br />
