FAVORING FEASIBILITY STUDY OF <br />THE ALAMEDA CREEK-COYOTE HILLS RECREATION AREA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Alameda Creek-Coyote <br />Hills Aquatic Park Joint Agency has called to the attention of <br />the City Council the advantages of the recreation area in the <br />vicinity of Coyote Hills; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the need for planning <br /> <br />and development of open spaces for recreational purposes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />urge and request the State Legislature and the State Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to undertake a study to determine the feasi- <br />bility of acquiring lands for a proposed Alameda Creek-Coyote <br />Hills Recreational Area. <br /> <br /> 2.
