CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 01-126 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING QUITCLAIM OF CITY'S INTEREST IN FOUR RECORDED IRREVOCABLE OFFERS OF DEDICATION MADE ON THE FINAL MAP FOR TRACT 7008 WHEREAS, in 1998 Council approved Tract 7008, Stoneridge Square, Village 3, Unit 1, and as part of that approval the developer made an "open offer of dedication" to the City of a strip of land for the potential extension of Stoneridge Drive; and WHEREAS, the route of the potential extension of Stoneridge Drive has been determined to be a northerly route, therefore making the open offer to dedication of this strip of land, at the present terminus of Lotus Street, CmTy Street, Mafia Street and Chocolate Street, no longer necessary; and WHEREAS, Tract 7334, Stoneridge Square, Village 3, Unit 2, is a 32 lot residential development which encompasses the area reserved on Tract 7008 for the potential extension of Stoneridge Drive; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 4, 2001, the City Council received the staff report (SR01:273) from the Director of Public Works requesting authorization to quitclaim the City's interest in the offer of dedication on the Final Map of Tract 7008. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Authorizes the City Manager to execute a Quitclaim Deed from the City of Pleasanton to Aneel Jaeel and Meera Jaeel to relinquish the City's interest acquired by the "Irrevocable Offer of Dedication" recorded May 30, 2000, Series No. 2000092512. Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to execute a Quitclaim Deed from the City of Pleasanton to Erik Iverson and Jacqueline Iverson to relinquish the City's interest acquired by the "Irrevocable Offer of Dedication" recorded May 30, 2000, Series No. 2000092512.
