C!TY OF' PLEAS,Z,,1, TO ,,f <br /> <br /> ., '. i':: C, F CALl FO [~ i~ h'", <br /> <br />URGING REGISTRATION OF VOTERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, certain areas in Alameda County have as many as <br />40% of the persons eligible to vote not registered to vote, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a non-partisan voter registration drive would <br />contribute to the democratic process; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The mayor of the City of Pleasanton is hereby authorized <br />to proclaim the month of August, 1964, as~"Register to Vote Month <br /> <br /> 2.
