JA, <br /> <br />R£S OLUTILC::~ N <br /> <br />REQUESTING DELAY IN ACTION ON TENTATIVE MAP <br /> OF TRACT 2668 <br /> <br /> W/~EREAS, Volk-McLain Co~xaunities, Inc. has filed a tentative <br />map for industrial tract 2668 for lands southeasterly of US 50 <br />and Hopyard Road, Pleasanton Township, pursuant to Alameda <br />County Ordinances; and <br /> <br /> WMEREAS, the same landowner has been developing lands in <br />Alameda and Contra Costa Counties according to a general plan <br />adopted and enforced by the Alameda County Board of ~upervisors <br />md Planning Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Vold-McLain Communities, Inc. has also filed <br />an application for re-zoning adjacent lands from industrial to <br />residential uses, which would seriously affect the development <br />of the Pleasanton and Pleasanton Township areas; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />request the Alameda County Planning Commission to delay action <br />on tentatige map to Tract 2668. <br /> <br /> 2. The City of Pleasanton desires time to consider the <br />impact on the entire area caused by the proposed industrial <br />tract and the proposed re-zoning to residential uses. <br /> <br /> 3. The City of Pleasanton requests that the Alameda County <br />Planning Commission consider the General Plan studies of the <br />City of Pleasanton, now b~fore the City legislative body for <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> 4. The City Manager and staff, and Livingston and Blayney, <br />planning consultant for the City, are authorized and directed <br />to present the position of the City at the hearing August 19, <br />1964, and at subsequent hearings. <br /> <br />Dated: <br /> <br />ATTE ST: <br /> <br />August 17, 1964. <br /> <br />JOMN B.
