L, !.UTID N NO. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDING ZONING APPLICATION <br />OF VOLK-McLAIN CO~UNITIES, INC. <br />BE DENIED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Volk-McLain Communities, Inc. has requested a re- <br />zoning on property southwesterly of Highway US 50 and Hopyard <br />Road, comonly known as the Walker ranch; <br /> <br /> WMEREAS, said property was master planned by Alameda County <br />,riot to construction of San Ramon Village subdivision; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. T~e City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />Lpprove and adopt the report of the Planning Commission dated <br />September 8, 1964, reco.a~ending denial of Volk-McLain re-zoning <br />application described above. <br /> <br /> 2. The Alameda County Planning Commission is strongly urged <br />to retain the present balance of industerial property set forth <br />in the Alameda County master plan for Pleasanton Township. <br /> <br /> 3.
