CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> C ...., , U ~,LAF,'~DA <br /> ST,},i£ OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> 575 <br />RESOLUTIDN NO. <br /> <br />RECOI~4ENDING DISAPPROVAL OF INDUSTAIAL <br /> SUBDIVISION TRACT 2668 PRESENTED BY <br /> VOLK-McLAIN COI~[UNITIES, INC. <br /> <br /> WqiEREAS, Volk-McLain Communities, Inc. has requested au <br />approval of an industrial subdivision to be known as Tract 2668 <br />for lands southwesterly of Highway US 50 and Hopyard Road, <br />commonly known as the Walker ranch; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the number and location of interchanges on Inter- <br />;tare Route 680 as proposed are not known at this time; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the size and shape of an industrial subdivision <br />:ors depend upon the nature of the industry of which may eventuall <br />use said land; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />approve and adopt the report of the Planning Commission dated <br />September 8, 1964, reco---ending denial of Volk-McLain industrial <br />tract tentative map no. 2668 described above. <br /> <br /> 2. The Alameda County Planning Co~ission is strongly urged <br />to consider the impact of lot sizes and locations in planning <br />future collector streets serving the area south of US 50 in moving <br />east and west traffic. <br /> <br /> 3. The Mayor, Ch~kman of the Planning Commission and City <br />Manager, or their representatives, are instructed to present the <br />position of the City of Pleasanton at Alameda County Planning <br />Commission and Board of Supervisors hearing on said matter. <br /> <br />DATED: September 8, 1964. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />'JO~N B.
