CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-122 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE <br />REPORT OF THE PLEASANTON DOWNTOWN <br />ASSOCIATION ADVISORY BOARD AND LEVYING THE <br />ANNUAL ASSESSMENT FOR 2002 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton has heretofore established a Downtown Pleasanton Business <br />Improvement District, the purposes and boundaries of which are set forth in <br />Chapter 5.28, Pleasanton Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has heretofore appointed a Pleasanton Advisory Board for <br /> the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Advisory Board has prepared a report for 2002, which report is on file with <br />the City Clerk, which report satisfies the statutory requirements of Streets and <br />Highways Code, §36533 and which report is attached to this resolution; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing was held as provided in §36564 of the Streets and Highways <br /> Code. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The report of the Advisory Board is approved and the assessment for the <br />Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement District is hereby levied for 2002. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 4, 2001 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
