CITY COLFNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-117 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A REBATE PROGRAM FOR <br />COMMERCIAL IRRIGATION CUSTOMERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 4, 2001, the City Council received the report of the <br />Directors of Public Works and Finance (SR 01:224) regarding implementation of a <br />Rebate Program for the City's Commercial Irrigation Customers; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this program will provide rebates to offset water conserving hardware purchases <br />on private commercial or City-owned irrigation meters within the City's service <br />area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Approves and implements the Commercial Irrigation System Rebate Program and <br />appropriates up to $420,000 from the City's Water Operation and Maintenance <br />Fund for the Rebate Program. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 4, 2001 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Peggy Ev.
