CITY OF PLEASA;,,'; CO U NTY 0 F STATE OF R~SnLUT~nN N rl.~~_ RESOLUTION DECLARING ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS INITIATED BY COUNCIL, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION DESIGNATED: ANNEXATION NO. 34, BERRY FARM ANNEX The City Council RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. These proceedings are City of Pleasanton to annex to in the City of Pleasanton does hereby initiated by the Council of the the City of Pleasanton all that uninhabited territory described below. The council acts on its own motion, pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939", (Sections 35300 et seq. of the Government Code) ~ amended. 2. The City Council does hereby desire to annex said uninhabited territory for the following reasons: Said territory is contiguous to the City, a part of the enlargened General Plan, and one of a series of annexations necessary in expanding the city boundaries to the east. The area can be served by city sewer and water, and is the next logical step in the city's growth. 3. Said uninhabited territory is situated in the Township of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, and is further designated and described.as follows: SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. 4. The Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County, California, approved the above described and proposed boundaries of said territory, as follows: RESOLUTION NO. 64-47 dated December 7, 1964. Said proposed boundaries were approved by Report of the Alameda County Boundary Commission in Resolution No. 865, dated November 19, 1964. 5. The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any person owning real property within the uninhabited territory described above and proposed to be annexed to the City of
