ICITY OF PL£A AN?ON <br /> COUNTY CF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE CF CAL,FORNIA <br /> <br /> ADOPTING NEN PLEASANTON AREA GENERAL <br /> PLAN, AMENDING FOI~R GENERAL PLAN~ <br /> AND ENLARGENING THE GENEEAL PLAN AREA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAs, the report and p~oposal of Livin ...... <br /> arming consultants for the ~=Lon aha ~iayney, <br /> C~ty of Pleasanton, has been received <br /> citizen's committee formed and reported, public hearings held <br /> by the Planning <br /> Commission of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; public <br /> hearings hel~ by the City Council of the C~ty of Pleasanton; and <br /> reports recemved from the Planning Commisszon on certain changes <br /> proposed by the City Council; and <br /> <br /> .WHERF~.S, ~esidents, property ornwers and interested persons <br /> have peen heard, orally or by letter, and their comments considere~ <br /> by both the Planning Commission and the City Council; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Pursuant to the authorit of Sec <br /> Government Code of the m ~ m~ _tion 65508 of the <br /> Stat_ ~ ~azz=orn~a, and pursuant to <br /> Section 3.1 of Ordinance No. 309 · <br /> 25,.~960, t~e C~ty Council of the(~y~n~:O~znance) adopted A ril <br /> ,L, amena and enlar~ ~ - "~y y~ rzeasantou does her~k~ <br /> map and text entit~N ~n~r~a~l~ ~d ~es design~-~ <br /> ne ~leasanton Plannin <br /> Area" dated March 1, 1965, being the map and text with modifica- <br /> tions below, as the general or master plan of the City of Plea- <br /> santon. <br /> <br /> 2. Said map and text shall be that document prepared by <br /> ston and Blayney dated February 11, 1965, except for changes <br /> Lows: <br /> <br /> a) Commercial areas: Property fronting First Street <br /> southerly of Vineyard Avenue and northerly of Kottinger Avenue, <br /> shall be designated i~eld For Further Consideration,,. <br /> b) Commercial areas: Paragraph $ under the heading '~ommer- <br /> cial Areas" shall be changed to read as follows: <br /> <br /> '~ine neighborhood shopping centers of 5 to 8 acres <br /> each will have an average supporting population of <br /> 7,000 in 1990.
