EPA <br /> STATE OF CALIfORNiA <br /> <br /> AMENDED RESOLUTION DECLARING ANNEXATION <br /> PROCEEDINGS INITIATED BY COUNCIL, AND <br /> GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION DESIGNATED: <br /> <br /> ANNEXATION NO. 36, PLEASANTON-SUNOLANNEX '~" <br /> <br /> The City Council in the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br /> RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. These proceedings are initiated by the Council of the <br /> City of Pleasanton to annex to the City of Pleasanton all that <br /> uninhabited territory described below. The Council acts on its <br /> own motion, pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory <br /> Act of 1939", (Sections 35300 et seq. of the Government Code) as <br /> amended. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council does hereby desire to annex said un- <br /> inhabited territory for the following reasons: <br /> <br /> Said territory is contiguous to the City, <br /> a part of the enlargened General Plan, and <br /> one of a series of annexations necessary in <br /> expanding the City boundaries. The area can <br /> be served by City sewer and water, and is <br /> the next logical step in the city's growth. <br /> <br /> 3. Said uninhabited territory is situated in the Township of <br />Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, and is further <br />designated and described as follows: <br /> <br /> SEE EXHIBIT '~" ATTACHED f[ERETO AND <br /> MADE A PART HEREOF. <br /> <br /> 4. The Local Agency Formation Co~ission of Alameda County~ <br />California, approved the above described and proposed boundaries <br />of said territory by resolution dated March 11, 1965. <br /> <br /> 5. The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any <br />person owning real property within the uninhabited territory <br />described above and proposed to be annexed to the City of Pleasan- <br />ton, and having any objections thereto, may appear before the <br />Council and show cause why such annexation should not take place, <br />to wit: <br /> <br /> <br />
