AMENDe,~ }1%E SOLU~ ION: ~DEOLA~ IN~ 7ANNEXAT ION PROCEEDINGS INITIATED BY COUNCIL AND GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION DESIGNATED: ANNEXATION NO. 38, STANLEY BOULEVARD, ANNEX "B" The City Council in the City of Pleasanton does hereby RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: 1. These proceedings are initiated by the Council of the~ City of Pleasanton to annex to the City of Pleasanton all that uninhabited territory described below. The Council acts on its own motion, pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939", (Sections 35300 et seq. of the Government Code) as amended. 2. The City Council does hereby desire to annex said un- inhabited territory for the following reasons: Said territory is contiguous to the City, a part of the enlargened General Plan, and one of a series of annexations necessary in expanding the City boundaries. The area can be served by City sewer and water, and is the next logical step in the city's growth. 3. Said uninhabited territory is situated in the Township !of Pleasanton, County of Alameda, State of California, and is further designated and described as follows: SEE EXMIBIT '~" ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. 4. The Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County, California, approved the above described and proposed boundaries of said territory by resolution dated March 11, 1965. 5. The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any )erson owning real property within the uninhabited territory ~escribed above and proposed to be annexed to the City of Pleasan- ton, and having any objections thereto, amy appear before the Council and show cause why such annexation should not take place to wit: - 1 -
