( I?Y OF --':"F COlJ I'4'¢Y OF ALAi',,1EDA '.31ATE OF CALIFORNIA RECOLUTION NO. ~ ~DED ~ESOL~ION DECking ~TION PR~EEDINGS INIT~D BY CO~CIL, ~D DIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ~E~TION DESIGNA~D: ~N~TION NO. 39, L~D A~N~ ~e City Council in the City of Pleasan~on does hereby RESOLVE AS FOL~WS: 1. ~ese proceedings are initia~ed by ~he Council of ~he City o~ Pleasan~on to annex ~o ~he City of Pleasanton all ~hat uninhabited territory described below. ~e Council acts on i~s ~ mo~ion, pursuan~ ~o the "~nexation o~ ~inhabi~ed Territory ,ct o~ 1939", (Section 35300 e~ seq. of the Dover~en~ Code) as ~ended. 2. ~e City Council does hereby desire to annex said ~in- habited territory for the following reasons: Said territory is contiguous to the City, a part of the enlargened General Plan, and one of a series of annexations necessary in expanding the City boundaries. ~e area can be served by City sewer and water, and is the next logical step in the city's growth. 3. Said ~inhabited territory is situated in Pleasanton, Co~ty of Al~eda, State of California, designated and described as follows: the Township of and is further SEE EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF. 4. The Local Agency Formation Commission of Alameda County, California, approved the above described and proposed boundaries of said territory by resolution dated March 11, 1965. 5. The time and place is hereby fixed when and where any person owning real property within the uninhabited territory described above and proposed to be annexed to the City of Pleasan- ton, and having any objections thereto, may appear before the Council and show cause why such annexation should not take place, to wit: - 1-
