AT THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING pLACE, PLEASANTON WOMEN'S CLUB BUILDING, sOUTHWEST CORNER OF VINEYARD AND REGALIA AVENUES, PLEASANTON, CALIFORNIA, AT 8:00 P.M., MAY 24, 1965. Such protest must be filed in writing, and may be filed at any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the pro- ~osed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner )r owners of property affected, and the description and area of such property, in general terms. 6. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to :duse a copy of this Resolution to be published at least twice, ~ut not oftener than once a week, in '~HE TIMES", a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton; and to be published outside the City of Pleasanton but within the County of Alameda, where said territory is located. Both of said pub- lications shall be completed at least twenty (20) days prior to the dates set for hearing. 7. The City Clerk is further authorized and directed to ~ause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to ~ach person to whom land within the territory is assessed in the last equalized county assessment roll available, at the addresses shown on said assessment roll or known to the Clerk, and to any Iperson who has [iled his name and addres~ and the designation of t~e lands in which he has an interest, ~lther legal or equitable, wxth the Clerk. Such notice shall be gmven not less than twenty (20) days before the first public hearing on the proposed annex- ation. 8.
