<br />REQUEST TO BOARD OF EQUALIZATION TO <br />EXAMINE SALES AND USE TAX RECORDS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has established a Uniform <br />les Tax Ordinance No. 262, adopted June 18, 1956, and further <br />:ontracted with the Board of Equalization to collect said tax; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to obtain <br />specific information regarding gross sales and sales tax revenues <br />from time to time from the records of the Board of Equalization; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Section 7056 of the Revenue and Taxation Code <br />prevents disclosure of information unless City has requested such <br />information by resolution; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The City Council does hereby request the Board of <br />Equalization to permit duly authorized officers and employees of <br />the City of Pleasanton to examine all sales and use tax records <br />taining to collection of said taxes in the City of Pleasanton. <br />2.
