CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-116 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VESTING THE 202,000 SQUARE FOOT <br />EXPANSION FOR THE STONERIDGE REGIONAL <br />SHOPPING CENTER FOR THE TERM OF THE <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Government Code Section 65865 through Section 65869.5 authorizes cities and <br />counties to enter into binding development agreements with persons having legal <br />or equitable interests in real property for the development of such property; and <br /> <br />in 1992, the City of Pleasanton adopted Ordinance No. 1578, approving a <br />development agreement between the City and the Security Trust Company <br />(Developer), for the Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center; and <br /> <br />in January 1998, the City Council approved the First Amendment to the <br />development agreement, granting an additional 202,000 square foot expansion, <br />with the approval to be confirmed or revoked by December 31, 1999, to allow the <br />completion of the West Las Positas interchange study; and <br /> <br />in May 2000, the City Council <br />development agreement extending <br />December 21, 2000); and <br /> <br />approved the Second Amendment to the <br />the deadline for one additional year (to <br /> <br />the West Las Positas interchange study is not yet completed; and <br /> <br />at its meeting of September 18, 2001, the City Council reviewed the staff report <br />from the Director of Planning and Community Development (SR 01:229); and <br /> <br />on September 18, 2001, a duly noticed public hearing was held, at which time the <br />applicant and all other members of the public were offered an opportunity to <br />present testimony regarding this matter; and <br /> <br /> <br />
