CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1496 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18.100.060 OF <br /> THE PT~ASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE <br /> REMOVAL OF POLITICAL CAMPAIGN SIGNS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 18. 100. 060 of Title 18, Zoning, of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 18.100.060 Removal of Political Campaign <br /> Signs - T{me Limits. <br /> <br /> It is unlawful for any person to fail to remove a <br /> political campaign sign within five days after the <br /> election for which the sign was posted." <br /> <br />Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on December 11, 1990. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on January 8, 1991 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> KENNETH R. MERCER, MAYOR <br /> <br />Peg~/~. ~Ezid~o, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS ~.~O~ <br />Michael H. Roush, City A~'torney <br /> <br /> <br />
