Ordinance No. 1525 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Section 3: Chapter 11.20 (Speed Limits), Section 11.20,020 <br /> (Decrease in state law maximum speed limit), Subsection <br /> O (Sunol Boulevard), paragraph 2, is amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> "2. On Sunol Boulevard from 1-680 to Sonoma Drive <br /> the speed limit shall be forty miles per <br /> hour." <br /> <br />Section 4: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once <br /> within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The <br /> Tri-Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete <br /> ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> <br />Section 5: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on October 15, 1991. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on November 5, 1991 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> KEN R.
