CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> AIAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1526 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF pT.RASANTON AMENDING THE <br /> TITLE OF CHAPTER 11.40 OF THE PT.RASANTON MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE, AMENDING SECTION 11.40.010 OF THE PLRASANTON <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADDING SECTION 11.40.100 TO THE <br /> PT.RASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE REMOVAL OF <br /> VEHIC~.RS WITH EXPIRED REGISTRATION AND/OR OPERATED BY <br /> UNLICENSED DRIVERS AND ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR CERTAIN <br /> TOWED ~ICLES. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The title of Chapter 11.40 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> "chapter 11.40 <br /> <br /> Removal of Vehicles From Streets" <br /> <br />Section 2: Section 11.40,010 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br /> is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 11.40,010 When Vehicles May Be Removed <br /> From Streets. <br /> <br /> Any regularly employed officer of the police <br /> department of the city may remove or cause to be <br /> removed: <br /> <br /> (Subsections A-C, no change.) <br /> <br /> D. Any vehicle found or operated in violation of <br /> Sections 22651(o) or 22651(p) of the Vehicle <br /> Code." <br /> <br />Section 3: Section 11.40.100 is hereby added to the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 11.40.100 A~ministrative Fee for Certain <br /> Towed Vehicles. <br /> <br /> In addition to satisfying the other requirements <br /> of Sections 22651(o) and/or 22651(p) of the <br /> Vehicle Code, the owner of any vehicle towed <br /> pursuant to Section 11.40.010D of this Chapter <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
