CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1534 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> pRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY AND ROBERTSON <br /> HOMES FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR AN 878 <br /> UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> pUD-S1-30-53D (SPANISH OAKS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, prudential Insurance Company and Robertson Homes have <br /> applied for development plan approval for the <br /> construction of an 878 unit apartment complex composed of <br /> 35 three-storybuildings with twenty-five percent of the <br /> units reserved for low-income households, on an <br /> approximately 27 acre site in the Hacienda Business Park <br /> located at 5675 Stoneridge Drive, bordered by Owens Drive <br /> on the north, Tassajara Creek on the east and Stoneridge <br /> Drive on the south; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, zoning for the property is pUD-Industrial/Commercial- <br /> Offices, with site-specific zoning of "OMPD" (Mid-Rise <br /> Planning District); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on December 10, 1991; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the development plan for <br /> the 878 apartment units; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on December 10, <br /> 1991; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> t~: Approves the development plan for the construction <br /> of an 878 unit apartment complex composed of 35 three- <br /> story buildings, which includes the reservation of 25 <br /> percent of the units (220) for lower income households, <br /> on an approximately 27 acre site in the Hacienda Business <br /> Park, locatd at 5675 Stoneridge Drive, bordered by Owens <br /> Drive on the north, Tassajara Creek on the east and <br /> Stoneridge Drive on the south, as described by the site <br /> plans, elevations, and related materials (dated ,,Received <br /> November 8, 1991"), on file with the Planning Department, <br /> and subject to the conditions set forth on Exhibit B, <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference- <br /> <br /> <br />
