CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1540 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF AL <br /> HOYT/JOHNNAKAMURA (VALSTROUGH AUTO VIT~AGE) <br /> FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO AN APPROVED <br /> PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AS FIT~D UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-85-02-02D-02M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, A1 Hoyt and John Nakamura representing Val Strough Auto <br /> Village have applied for a major modification to an <br /> approved planned unit development (PUD-85-02), located at <br /> the southwest corner of the intersection of Santa Rita <br /> Road and 1-680, to amend the development plan for Val <br /> Strough Auto Village and for desig~ review approval of a <br /> proposed eight-bay automobile service building; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit development) <br /> - Central/Commercial District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the PUD for the Val Strough Auto Village was approved in <br /> December 1985 and has since been modified one time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the requested modification is reasonable and would not <br /> violate the original intent of this PUD; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Design Review Board's <br /> recommendations for approval of the proposed minor <br /> modification to the approved planned unit development; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the project has been determined to be a Class 3 <br /> categorical exemption pursuant to Section 15303 of the <br /> State CEQA Guidelines; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on January 7, <br /> 1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this major modification is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
