CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1538 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1336, AS AMENDED, AND <br /> SECTION 17.36.230 OF THE PT.RASANTON MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE, CONCERNING LAPSING OF GROWTH MANAGEMENT <br /> APPROVAL <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 1 (part) of Ordinance No. 1336 and Section <br /> 17.36.230 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 17.36,230 Lapse of approval. <br /> <br /> A. Growth management approval shall lapse and <br /> become null and void as to any approved unit for which no <br /> building permit has been obtained prior to December 31st <br /> of the calendar year following the calendar year for <br /> which the growth management approval was granted. <br /> Notwithstanding the prior sentence, the City Council in <br /> its sole discretion may extend growth management approval <br /> for up to an additional twelve months upon a showing that <br /> an applicant for a multi-year project has obtained a <br /> significant number of building permits within the <br /> project. <br /> <br /> (Subsections B - E, no change.)" <br /> <br /> Section 2: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once <br /> within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri- <br /> Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete <br /> ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on December 10, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
