CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1537 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON <br /> AMRNDING SECTION 3.32.020 OF THE PT~ASANTON <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING NOTIFICATION TO <br /> LOCAL CONTRACTORS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 1 (part) of Ordinance No. 1523 and Section <br /> 3.32.020 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 3.32,020 Contractors List <br /> <br /> A. A list of contractors shall be developed and <br /> maintained in accordance with the provisions of <br /> Section 22034 of the Public Contract Code and <br /> criteria promulgated from time to time by the <br /> California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting <br /> Commission. <br /> <br /> B. The Director of Public Works and Utilities shall <br /> each January mail a notice to all contractors who <br /> have an office in the City of Pleasanton, who have <br /> a current City of Pleasanton business license, but <br /> who are not already on the list as set forth in <br /> Section 3.32.020A, informing such contractor of the <br /> existence of this Chapter and encouraging such <br /> contractor to request to be put on the list." <br /> <br />Section 2: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once <br /> within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri- <br /> Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and shall be posted <br /> for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on December 10, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
