CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1536 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PT~ASANTON <br /> AMRNDING SECTION 1 (PART) OF ORDINANCE 1524 <br /> ANX) SECTIONS 2.48,020, 2.48,030, 2.48,050 and <br /> 2.48.060 OF THE PT2ASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> CONCERNING NOTIFICATION TO AND USE OF LOCAL <br /> pROFESSIONAL SERVICES FIRMS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 1 (part) of Ordinance 1524 and Sections <br /> 2.48,020, 2.48.030, 2.48,050 and 2.48.060 of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> ,,Section 2.48,020 Definition~ <br /> <br /> For purposes of this Chapter, the following definitions <br /> shall apply: <br /> <br /> (exist~ng~ A. Director. 'Director' shall mean the respective <br /> department head who has the primary administrative <br /> responsibility for a particular project. <br /> <br /> ~new~ B. Local firm. 'Local firm' shall mean an <br /> architectural, engineering, environmental, land <br /> surveying or construction management service firm <br /> which has a professional office in the City of <br /> Pleasanton and which has a current City of <br /> Pleasanton business license. <br /> <br /> Section 2.48,030 Annual Statement of Qualifications <br /> <br /> ~exi,t~ng~ A. Each Director shall encourage firms engaged in the <br /> lawful practice of their profession to submit <br /> annually a statement of qualifications and <br /> performance data. <br /> <br /> <new) B. Each Director shall each January mail a notice to <br /> all local firms who are not already on the lists as <br /> set forth in this Chapter informing such firms of <br /> the existence of this Chapter and encouraging such <br /> firms to request to be placed on the lists. <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
