CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1551 <br /> <br /> .AN ORDINANCEAPPROVINGTHEAPPLICATION OF THE <br /> CITY OF PT~ASANTON TO PREZONE APPROXIMATELY <br /> 1,538 ACRES, AS FILED UNDER CASE RZ-91-7 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for approval to <br /> prezone: (1) 1,170 acres of the Ruby Hill site to a <br /> Planned Unit Development (PUD) district incorporatingthe <br /> PUD uses, development plan and conditions approved on <br /> June 6, 1991 by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors <br /> for the 1837th Zoning Unit; and (2) the 36S-acre Vineyard <br /> Avenue Corridor area consistent with the uses designated <br /> by the Pleasanton General Plan (Agriculture and Grazing, <br /> Rural Density Residential, Low DensityResidential, Parks <br /> and Recreation, Public Health and Safety, and Sand and <br /> Gravel Harvesting); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the initial environmental study, a Negative <br /> Declaration was adopted by the City Council on <br /> February 18, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the proposed prezoning; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 17, 1992; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this prezoning is consistent <br /> with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the prezoning of approximately 1,538 acres <br /> located south of the Arroyo del Valle and extending east <br /> from the Pleasanton City limits near Montevino Drive to <br /> land located west of the proposed realignment of <br /> Vallecitos Road to PUD as follows: (1) the approximately <br /> 1,170-acre Ruby Hill area, the PUD uses, development <br /> plan, and conditions approved on June 6, 1991 by the <br /> Alameda County Board of Supervisors for the 1837th Zoning <br /> Unit; and (2) the approximately 368-acre Vineyard Avenue <br /> Corridor area consistent with the uses designated by the <br /> Pleasanton General Plan, including: Agriculture and <br /> Grazing, Rural Density Residential, Low Density <br /> Residential, Parks and Recreation, Public Health and <br /> Safety, and Sand and Gravel Harvesting. All parcels <br /> which are under Williamson Act contract shall be subject <br /> to the applicable use restrictions establishing through <br /> the current contract by Alameda County. <br /> <br /> <br />
