CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1559 <br /> <br /> AN OPd)INANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> CRAIG SJOBERG FOR DEVELOPMENT PIA~ APPROVkL AS <br /> FILED UNDER CLOSE PUD-89-14-1D <br /> <br />W~HEREAS, Craig Sjoberg has applied for a PUD development plan <br /> approval to construct a 2-1/2 story office building <br /> totaling 20,110 square feet in floor area on a site <br /> located at the northeast corner of the Bernal <br /> Avenue/Pleasanton Avenue intersection (4900 Pleasanton <br /> Avenue); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br /> - Office District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Negative Declaration of Environmental Significance was <br /> prepared in conjunction with the original PUD approval <br /> (PUD-89-14) and the proposed project is within the scope <br /> of this environmental report; therefore, no additional <br /> environmental document accompanies this report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the development plan; and <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 5, 1992, <br /> and testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br /> including its design, cumulative impact, consistency with <br /> the General Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan, as <br /> conditioned, is consistent with the General Plan policies <br /> of the City of Pleasanton, and would be an attractive and <br /> compatible addition to development in the area. <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASA/~TON DOES HEP~EBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Approves the application of Craig Sjoberg for <br /> development plan approval to construct a 2-1/2 story <br /> office building totaling 20,110 square feet in floor area <br /> on a site located at the northeast corner of the Bernal <br /> Avenue/Pleasanton Avenue intersection (4900 Pleasanton <br /> Avenue), subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B", <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
