This zone should be plainly indicated to equipment operators by the installation of a temporary wood lath and wire or equivalent fence around the buffer zone. The arborist shall be on-site during grading adjacent to these trees. The arborist shall certify in writing that all grading operation were conducted according to the conditions of approval. Gutters should be locate~ on slopes to divert runoff from landscaping and roads away from oaks. Drought resistant native plant species should be used in landscaping to. reduce water use. 6-42 Replace Lost or Damaqed Oaks and Mainta~ Them Valley oaks removed or damaged from project-related activities should be replaced on a 6:1 basis. Any trees removed along Happy Valley Road shall be replaced at the same ratio, 3 of these trees shall be a minimum of 24 inch box in size and located in naturally appearing groupings along Happy Valley Road. The grading plan shall include specific details to retain the existing 38" cottonwood tree and 30" oak tree. Specific details shall be included with on the Tentative Map. 7. PUBLIC FACILITIES AND SERVICES 7-1: Establish a Neighborhood Watch Program A "Neighborhood Watch" program shall be established with the Police Department.
