The City Manager <br /> may determine in writing that a particular consultant, <br /> although a "designated position," is hired to perform a range <br /> of duties that is limited in scope and thus is not required to <br /> fully comply with the disclosure requirements described in <br /> this Chapter. Such written determination shall include a <br /> description of the consultant's duties and, based upon that <br /> description, a statement of the extent of the disclosure <br /> requirements. The City Manager's determination shall be a <br /> public record and shall be retained for public inspection in <br /> the same manner and location as this Chapter. <br /> <br /> Section 1.10.060 Relatives of Desiqnated Officials and <br /> <br /> Any official or employee designated in Section 1.10,030 of <br /> this Chapter must disqualify himself or herself from making or <br /> participating in the making of any decisions which will <br /> foreseeably have a material financial effect, distinguishable <br /> from its effect on the public generally, on any economic <br /> interest, as defined in Government Code Section 87103, of such <br /> official's or employee's relative, the existence of which an <br /> official or employee has knowledge or reason to know. A <br /> relative shall mean a father, mother, brother, sister, aunt, <br /> uncle, niece or nephew by blood or marriage. No official or <br /> employee shall be prevented from making or participating in <br /> the making of any decision to the extent that his or her <br /> participation is legally required for the decision to be made. <br /> <br />Section 2: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1422 and Section 2.04,030 of <br /> the Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby repealed in <br /> their entirety. <br /> <br /> <br />
