Ordinance No. 1573 Page Six DEPARTMENT DISCLOSE CATEGORY POSITION Human Services 2 Commissioners Commission Parks and Community 2 Commissioners Services Commission Library Commission 6 Commissioners Public Facilities 2, 4 Members Corporation Section 1.10,050 Consultants Consultants shall be designated on a case-by-case basis,' depending upon the nature of their services. The City Manager may determine in writing that a particular consultant, although a "designated position," is hired to perform a range of duties that is limited in scope and thus is not required to fully comply with the disclosure requirements described in this Chapter. Such written determination shall include a description of the consultant's duties and, based upon that description, a statement of the extent of the disclosure requirements. The City Manager's determination shall be a public record and shall be retained for public inspection in the same manner and location as this Chapter. Section 1.10.060 Relatives of Desiqnated Officials and Any official or employee designated in Section 1.10,030 of this Chapter must disqualify himself or herself from making or participating in the making of any decisions which will foreseeably have a material financial effect, distinguishable from its effect on the public generally, on any economic interest, as defined in Government Code Section 87103, of such official's or employee's relative, the existence of which an official or employee has knowledge or reason to know. A relative shall mean a father, mother, brother, sister, aunt, uncle, niece or nephew by blood or marriage. No official or employee shall be prevented from making or participating in the making of any decision to the extent that his or her participation is legally required for the decision to be made. Section 2: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1422 and Section 2.04,030 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby repealed in their entirety.
