course property shall be the responsibility of the golf <br /> course owner. <br /> <br /> 63. The project shall incorporate the following development <br /> features and/or standards relative to fire management: <br /> <br /> a. All residential structures in the development shall be <br /> required to be equipped with automatic fire sprinkler <br /> systems; the design criteria for residential fire <br /> sprinkler systems shall be subject to approval by the <br /> Fire Marshal; <br /> <br /> b. All residential structures in the development shall be <br /> required to be constructed with Class A fire retardant <br /> roofing materials; <br /> <br /> c. The minimum size water service line from the water main <br /> to the property line or meter shall be 1½ inch unless <br /> otherwise approved by the Fire Marshal; <br /> <br /> d. Hose bibs shall be required on all sides of residential <br /> structures, and an area at least 20 feet wide around <br /> each residence shall be equipped with an irrigation <br /> system for lots which abut non-irrigated open space <br /> areas; and <br /> <br /> e. The design of residences shall minimize the use of <br /> combustible exterior finish materials and landscaping. <br /> <br />64. All emergency vehicle access (EVA) roads shall be designed <br /> to meet the standards of a fire apparatus access road as <br /> defined in the Pleasanton Municipal Code. The developer <br /> shall submit details concerning the use of any proposed <br /> gates within the EVA system for review and approval by the <br /> Fire Marshal prior to approval of the tentative map. <br /> <br />65. The developer shall prepare a pamphlet for residents <br /> regarding exit routes, use of any necessary locks, proper <br /> maintenance for fire protection,' and other related fire <br /> protection issues. The pamphlet shall be subject to review <br /> and approval by the Fire Marshal prior to printing, and the <br /> document shall be distributed to all project residents as <br /> well as prospective home buyers. <br /> <br />Police Protection <br /> <br />66. The project shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton <br /> Security Code. The developer shall provide plans for the <br /> development as required and specified by the Crime <br /> Prevention Bureau of the Pleasanton Police Department. <br /> <br /> 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
