after the effective date of the action effecting such amendment; <br />however, a failure to record shall not affect the validity of <br />such amendment. <br /> <br /> 17.3 Amendment Exemptions. The following actions shall <br />not require an amendment to this Agreement: <br /> <br /> (a) Subdivision. The subdivision of the <br />Property, or the filing of a parcel map or subdivision map that <br />creates new legal lots, or any lot-line adjustment, shall not <br />require an amendment to this Agreement. Developer may subdivide <br />the Property in accordance with the laws regarding subdivision in <br />effect in the City at the time the Developer applies for any <br />subdivision, as long as applying these laws does not limit the <br />Project or impose any additional Conditions, taxes or assessments <br />other than those set out in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> (b) Desiqn Review. Design review of specific <br />aspects of the Project shall not require an amendment to this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br /> 18. Notices. <br /> <br /> 18.1 Procedure. Any notice to either Party shall be in <br />writing and given by delivering the notice in person or via <br />facsimile, by overnight courier, or by sending the notice by <br />registered or certified mail, or Express Mail, return receipt <br />requested, with postage prepaid, to the Party's mailing address. <br />The respective mailing addresses of the Parties are, until <br />changed as hereinafter provided, the following: <br /> <br /> City: City of Pleasanton <br /> 123 Main Street <br /> Pleasanton, CA 94566-0802 <br /> Attn: Director of Planning <br /> <br /> Developer: Security Trust Company, as Trustee <br /> c/o The Taubman Company, Inc. <br /> 200 East Long Lake Road <br /> Bloomfield Hills, MI. 48303 <br /> Attn: Vice President - Development <br /> With <br /> copies to: The Taubman Company, Inc. <br /> 200 East Long Lake Road <br /> Bloomfield Hills, MI. 48303 <br /> Attn: Vice President - Partnership <br /> Relations <br /> <br /> Robert L.
