CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1578 ORDINANCE APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE SECURITY TRUST COMPANY REGARDING THE STONERIDGE REGIONAL SHOPPING CENTER WHEREAS, Government Code Section 65865 through Section 65869.5 authorizes cities and counties to enter into binding development agreements with persons having legal or equitable interests in real property for the development of such property; and WHEREAS, the Taubman Company has made application to the City on behalf of Security Trust Company, as Trustee under Trust No. 1860-0, for such Development Agreement; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a Negative Declaration was adopted by Council on September 15, 1992; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval of the Development Agreement; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 15, 1992; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Finds that the proposed Development Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the Security Trust Company, as Trustee under Trust No. 1860-0, is consistent with the City's General Plan. Section 2: Approves the Development Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the Security Trust Company, as Trustee under Trust No. 1860-0, a draft copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, and the final form of which is to be approved by the City Attorney. Section 3: Authorizes the appropriate city officials to execute the above-referenced agreement when approved as to form by the City Attorney.
