CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1577 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> JOSEPH E. MADDEN FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br /> REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL AS <br /> FIRED UNDEI~ CASE PUD-92-6 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joseph E. Madden has applied for planned unit development <br /> rezoning and development plan approval to construct a <br /> commercial service development consisting of a four- <br /> building plan totalling 47,500 sq. ft. or a five-building <br /> plan totalling 52,500 sg. ft. on a site located on <br /> Stanley Boulevard between Valley Avenue and California <br /> Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br /> - Commercial District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on September 15, 1992; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission,s <br /> recommendations for approval of the development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 15, <br /> 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of a site located on Stanley <br /> Boulevard between Valley Avenue and California Avenue to <br /> PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Commercial District. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #419, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A" dated September 15, 1992, and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
