<br /> . <br />.. . . <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1576 <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING PREZONING OF <br /> APPROXIMATELY 135 ACRES IN THE NORTH SYCAMORE <br /> AREA (RZ-92-03) <br />WHEREAS , an application to prezone the 135-acre North Sycamore <br /> site according to the adopted Specific Plan for the area <br /> is proposed by the City of Pleasanton: and the prezoning <br /> would include the following zoning designations; Planned <br /> Unit Development-Agricultural (PUD-A) , PUD-Low Density <br /> Residential (PUD-LDR) , PUD-Medium Density Residential <br /> (PUD-MDR) , and PUD-Office (PUD-O); and <br />WHEREAS , the potential impacts of the proposed prezoning were <br /> addressed by the Environmental Impact Report and addendum <br /> for the North Sycamore Specific Plan and General Plan <br /> Amendment adopted by the City Council on June 16, 1992: <br /> and <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning commission'S <br /> recommendations for approval of the proposed prezoning: <br /> and <br />WHEREAS , a duly noticed public hearing was held on september 1, <br /> 1992: and <br />WHEREAS , the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton and the adopted North Sycamore Specific Plan. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 135 acre <br /> site located generally north of Sycamore Road, east of <br /> Suno1 Boulevard and south of the Mission Park and Ventana <br /> Hills neighborhoods, to the following zoning <br /> designations: Planned Unit Development - Agricultural <br /> (PUD-A), PUD - Low Density Residential (PUD-LDR) , PUD - <br /> Medium Density Residential (PUD-MDR) , and PUD-Office <br /> (PUD-O), as described in the attached Exhibits "A" and <br /> "B". <br />Section 2: The zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the ci ty into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by zoning Unit Map No. 418, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "C", dated september 1, 1992, and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> " <br />
