CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1576 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING PREZONING OF APPROXIMATELY 135 ACRES IN THE NORTH SYCAMORE AREA (RZ-92-03) WHEREAS , an application to prezone the 135-acre North Sycamore site according to the adopted Specific Plan for the area is proposed by the City of Pleasanton: and the prezoning would include the following zoning designations; Planned Unit Development-Agricultural (PUD-A) , PUD-Low Density Residential (PUD-LDR) , PUD-Medium Density Residential (PUD-MDR) , and PUD-Office (PUD-O); and WHEREAS , the potential impacts of the proposed prezoning were addressed by the Environmental Impact Report and addendum for the North Sycamore Specific Plan and General Plan Amendment adopted by the City Council on June 16, 1992: and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning commission'S recommendations for approval of the proposed prezoning: and WHEREAS , a duly noticed public hearing was held on september 1, 1992: and WHEREAS , the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton and the adopted North Sycamore Specific Plan. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the prezoning of an approximately 135 acre site located generally north of Sycamore Road, east of Suno1 Boulevard and south of the Mission Park and Ventana Hills neighborhoods, to the following zoning designations: Planned Unit Development - Agricultural (PUD-A), PUD - Low Density Residential (PUD-LDR) , PUD - Medium Density Residential (PUD-MDR) , and PUD-Office (PUD-O), as described in the attached Exhibits "A" and "B". Section 2: The zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the ci ty into zoning districts is hereby amended by zoning Unit Map No. 418, attached hereto as Exhibit "C", dated september 1, 1992, and incorporated herein by this reference.
