CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1698 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION <br /> OF SUMMERFIELD SUITES DEVELOPMENT <br /> COMPANY, INC. FOR PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT MODIFICATIONS, AS FILED <br /> UNDER CASE PUD-81-50-34M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Summerfield Suites Development Company, Inc. has applied for PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development) modifications to change the Hacienda <br /> Business Park land use designation for Site 13F from MO1PD (Mixed <br /> Office, Research and Development/Light Manufacturing Planning District) <br /> to MCOIPD (Mixed Retail/Commercial/Financial, Office and Research and <br /> Development/Light Manufacturing Planning District) and to allow hotel <br /> uses on the subject site in the Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br /> (Industrial/Commercial and Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is within the scope of the Environmental Impact <br /> Report prepared in conjunction with the PUD approval for the entire <br /> Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendations for approval <br /> of the proposed major modifications to the approved planned unit <br /> development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on November 5, 1996; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the PUD modification to redesignate the subject <br /> parcel to the MCOIPD land use designation, and the PUD modification to <br /> allow hotel uses on the subject parcel would have no adverse impacts on the <br /> adjacent properties or the City in general. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
