Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, <br /> to the Fire Chief. Work on the altemative fire protection methods shall not start without <br /> the approval of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />49. All roads on the site are designated as fire apparatus access roads by the Fire Chief and <br /> must be maintained in accordance with Section 10.201 of the Uniform Fire Code and be <br /> accessible at all times from the start of construction until the project is completed. Curbs <br /> must be painted red or "No Parking" signs provided as required by the vehicle code. <br /> <br />50. The developer shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from <br /> all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours. Tenant <br /> spaces shall be identified as determined by the City. <br /> <br />51. Trash enclosures which are sized to contain dumpsters with an individual capacity of 1.5 <br /> cubic yards located within five feet of combustible walls, openings, or combustible roof <br /> eaves shall be provided with an automatic fire sprinkler system. <br /> <br />POLICE DEPARTMENT CONDITIONS <br /> <br />52. If required by the Police Department, the building(s) shall be equipped with an alarm <br /> system, the type to be approved by the Police Department and that this system shall be <br /> installed prior to occupancy of the building. <br /> <br />53. The developer shall seek City Council approval to allow on-site regulation of the Vehicle <br /> Code for the shopping center. <br /> <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT CONDITIONS <br /> <br />Streets <br /> <br />54. The developer shall dedicate to the City for street right-of-way purposes land needed for <br /> the widening of Owens Drive. <br /> <br />55. The developer shall grant an easement to the City over those parcels needed for public <br /> service easements (P.S.E.) as required by the City Engineer or other easements which <br /> may be designated by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />56. The developer shall install street frontage improvements per Chapter 19.40.010 of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code and to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. These <br /> improvements may include, but are not necessarily limited to, grading, curb and gutter, <br /> sidewalk, paving, storm drain, sanitary sewer, water facilities, street lighting, <br /> underground utilities, traffic control devices, landscaping, and automatic irrigation <br /> systems. <br /> <br />Conditions of Approval -- PUD-96-13 Page 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
