CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />' ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFC~RNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1692 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION <br /> OF BRAD HIRST AND THOMAS PROPERTIES ON <br /> BEHALF OF THORATEC LABORATORIES FOR A <br /> MAJOR MODIFICATION TO AN APPROVED PUD <br /> DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-80-16-8M <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Brad Hirst and Thomas Properties (on behalf of Thoratec Laboratories) <br /> have applied for a major modification to an approved PUD Development <br /> Plan to allow the construction of an approximately 62, 188 square foot, one- <br /> and two-story office, research and development, and light manufacturing <br /> building located on an approximately 3.96-acre site on the northeast comer <br /> of Stoneridge Drive and Bradley Drive by the existing Bank of America <br /> building; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br /> (Industrial/Commercial and Office) District; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a Negative Declaration was <br /> adopted by the City Council on September 3, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval <br /> of the proposed major modification to the approved planned unit <br /> development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 3, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed modification is appropriate for the <br /> site and is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
