CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1688 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION <br /> OF MCDONALD'S CORPORATION FOR A MAJOR <br /> MODIFICATION TO AN APPROVED PUD PLAN, AS <br /> FILED UNDER CASE PUD-85-08-SD-1M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, McDonald's Corporation has applied for a major modification to the <br /> previously approved approximately 126,300-square foot retail store PUD <br /> development plan to allow the installation of a logo sign on the front facade <br /> of a building, where no additional signage was permitted by the PUD sign <br /> program, located at 4501 Rosewood Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - MCOIPD <br /> (Mixed Commercial Office Industrial Planned Development) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a Negative Declaration was <br /> adopted by the City Council on January 4, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for denial of <br /> the proposed major modification to the approved planned unit development; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 16, 1996; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed modification is appropriate for the <br /> site and is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
