C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1677 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF T!{F~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PI.EASANTON AUTHO]~IzING AN <br /> AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br /> CITY OF PL~-ASANTON AND TFn~ BOARD OF <br /> ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC <br /> EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM REGARDING <br /> FOURTH LEYEL 1959 SURYIVORS BENEFIT <br /> <br />THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />~: That an amendment to the contract between the City of Pleasanton and the <br /> Board of Administration, California Public Employees' Retirement System <br /> is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, <br /> market Exhibit A, and by this reference made a part hereof as though <br /> herein set out in full. <br /> <br />~: The City Manager of the City of Pleasanton is hereby authorized, <br /> empowered, and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of <br /> said agency. <br /> <br />~: A summary of this ordinance shall' be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance <br /> shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />~: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br /> March 5, 1996. <br /> <br /> <br />
