Ordinance No. 1674 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br /> B. The liaison members shall be nominated by their respective <br /> Commissions for one-year terms commencing in January of each <br /> year. The term of office of the two liaison members shall not extend <br /> beyond their term on the Commission they represent." <br /> <br />Section 3: Sections 2.36.020, 2.36.030, 2.36.032, 2.36.070, and 2.36.080 of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Cede are hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "2.36.020 Board of Directors <br /> <br /> A. Establishment. There shall be a Board of Directors of the Housing <br /> Authority of the City of Pleasanton consisting of the five (5) <br /> members of the City Council. All rights, powers, duties, privileges <br /> and immunities of the Authority, except as otherwise expressly <br /> provided by local ordinance or state law, are vested in the Board of <br /> Directors. <br /> <br /> B. Officers. The chairperson of the Board of Directors shall be the <br /> Mayor of the City. The vice chairperson shall be the Vice Mayor. <br /> <br /> C. Meetings. Meetings shall comply in all respects with section 54950 <br /> et seq. of the Government Code, commonly known as the Ralph M. <br /> Brown Act. The Board of Directors shall hold an annual meeting <br /> any time between March 1 and June 30 to consider the budget. The <br /> Chair or any three members of the Board of Directors may call a <br /> special meeting, provided, however, the only business transacted <br /> shall be limited to items and subjects set forth in the notice of special <br /> meeting and written notice shall be given forty-eight (48) hours in <br /> advance of the special meetings to the following: each member of <br /> the Board, local newspapers of general circulation, and anyone who <br /> has filed a written request for notice. <br /> D. Rules of Procedure. Rules of procedure shall be as provided for the <br /> conduct of business for the City Council, except as specifically <br /> provided otherwise by the Housing Authorities Law of California <br /> (Health and Safety Code, Section 34200 et seq.) or by resolution of <br /> the Board of Directors. <br /> <br /> E. Delegation of Authority. All powers of the Board of Directors are <br /> delegated to the Housing Authority Commission except as reserved <br /> <br /> <br />
