CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1670 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> PROVIDING FOR NO PARKING ZONES ADJACENT TO <br /> FIRE HYDRANTS BY ADDING 11.36.100(H) TO THE <br /> PL~&SANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />~: A new subsection 11.36,100(}I) shall be added to Chapter 11.36, ~Q]2P/]]~ <br /> Standing and Parldng, of the Pleasanton Municipal, which subsection shall read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> '11.36.100 No parking zones. <br /> <br /> (Section A - G, No change.) <br /> <br /> H. Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant, except that the City Engineer may permit <br /> a shorter distance provided that if the no parking zone is less than 10 feet <br /> in length when measured along the curb or edge of the street, the curb <br /> shall be painted red or a sign or other markings shall indicate the <br /> shortened distance.' <br /> <br /> ~f~._~: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days <br /> after its adoption in "The Valley Times,' a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted <br /> for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> ~_tj_o_B~: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage <br /> and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br /> December 5, 1995. <br /> <br /> <br />
