<br /> 7, 199t ~ Dc~rxber 8, 1995, which provides for participation of Public Agency in said Sysmm, Board
<br /> and Public ASency hereby agree as follows:

<br /> 1. All words and t~,ms used herein which are defined in the Public En~loy~'
<br /> Law shall have the meanln~ as defined therein unless otherwise specifi~-~ny pwvided.

<br /> 2. Public AZaxc~y shall participate in the Public Em~loye~' Retiremen~ System from and
<br /> ~ S~tember 1. 1953 makin~ its employees as hc,~'cinafter provided, xxzmbers of
<br /> System subj~:~ to all provisions of the Public Employees' Retiremere Law except such
<br /> as appi), only on election of a ~irtE aZency and are not provided for hex'~u and to
<br /> all amendments to said l.~w hereafter emaaed except those, which by express provisions
<br /> thereof, apply only oft the election of a corm'acting agency.

<br /> 3. F_mployees of Public Agency in the following classes shall become members of said
<br /> Retireme~ Systerrl exC-~'r~rt such in each such class as are excluded by law or
<br /> agreement:
<br />
<br /> a. Local Fire Fighzrs (herein x~ferred to as local safer/members):
<br />
<br /> b. Local Police Officers (herein rderred to as local safay members);
<br />
<br /> c. Employe~ other than local .safeiy menben (herein referred to as local
<br /> miscellaneous members).
<br />
<br /> 4. in addition to the classes of employees excluded from membership by said Retirement
<br /> Law, the following classes of employees shall not become members of said Retireram
<br /> Sysn, m'.
<br /> NO ADDITIONAL EXCLUSIONS
<br />
<br /> 5. The percer~e of final ~on to be provided for each year of credited prior and
<br /> curren~ service as a local miscellaneous n,~n,~r s~au be de~err~i,,ed in accordance with
<br /> Section 21251.13l of said P,~-~rement Law (2% at age 55 Full)-
