CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1659 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING CHAPTER 13.08.130 AND 13.08.140 OF <br /> THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> CONCERNING POSSESSION OF ALCOHOLIC <br /> BEVERAGES IN PARKS AND PARK HOURS OF <br /> OPERATION AND ACCESS. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 4 (part) of Ordinance 1428 and Sections 13.08.130 and <br /> 13.08.140 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby amended to read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> "S~ction 13.08.130 Alcoholic beverages. <br /> <br /> No person shall drink any alcoholic beverage in any park and recreation <br /> facility, except in connection with an event or activity which has the written <br /> permission of the Director. <br /> <br /> SeCtion 13,08.140 Hours of operation and access. <br /> <br /> A. A park and recreation facility shall be available to the public <br /> during daylight except (a) for the use of pathways/sidewalks within the facility, <br /> (b) when there is posted conspicuously a sign limiting the daytime hours when <br /> such facility is available to the public, and (c) after daylight if and when the <br /> facility is lighted. <br /> <br /> (Subsection B, no change.) <br /> <br /> C. No person shall be or remain in a park and recreation facility <br /> other than during daylight except as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
