CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1657 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PLEASANTON <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE, SECTION 18.96.090, REGARDING <br /> TEMPORARY SUBDIVISION SIGNS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 18.96.090 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby amended to read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> 18.96.090. Temporary subdivision signs. <br /> <br /> (Paragraphs A and B no change) <br /> <br /> C. The Zoning Administrator may authorize one (1) on-site advertising sign <br /> and two (2) off-site directional signs, where warranted, after a final <br /> subdivision map has been recorded for the project. In cases where a <br /> residential subdivision is under the same ownership but consists of <br /> different housing product types, the Zoning Administrator may authorize <br /> one (1) on-site advertising sign and two (2) off-site directional signs, <br /> where warranted, per product type, after a ~nal subdivision map has been <br /> recorded for the housing product type for Which said signs are desired. <br /> For the purposes of this Section, a product type shah mean housing units <br /> which are clearly distinguishable in terms of one or more of the following <br /> characteristics: lot size,' attached vs. detached units; single-family vs. <br /> multi-family units; production homes vs. custom homes,' or as otherwise <br /> determined by the Zoning Administrator. All signs shah be subject to all <br /> of the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. The signs may be either single-faced, double-faced, or V-shaped, <br /> providing the angle between the two (2) faces shall not exceed <br /> sixty degrees (60 degrees); <br /> <br /> 2. On-site advertising sign. The horizontal dimension of an on-site <br /> advertising sign face shall not exceed twelve feet (12') and the <br /> total sign area shall not exceed one hundred (100) square feet with <br /> a total height of not more than fourteen feet (14') from ground <br /> level. <br /> <br /> <br />
