CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1647 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11.20 OF <br /> THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING <br /> SPEED LIMITS ON VARIOUS STREETS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />~: Chapter 11.20 (Speed Limits), Section 11.20.010, Subsection "W" is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "W. Vineyard Avenue. <br /> <br /> 1. On Vineyard Avenue from Bernal Avenue to a point 4,660 <br /> feet east of Peitronave Lane, the speed limit shall be forty <br /> (40) miles per hour. <br /> <br /> 2. On Vineyard Avenue from 4,660 feet east of Peitronave Lane <br /> to the easterly City limits, the speed limit shall be fifty (50) <br /> miles per hour. <br /> <br /> Section 2: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance <br /> shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br /> February 7, 1995. <br /> <br /> <br />
