CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1639 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> CAFFINO, INC. FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO <br /> ALLOW A DRIVE-THROUGH, TAKE-OUT USE AT <br /> PLEASANT VILLAGE CENTER, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-80-15-SD-4M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the PUD for Pleasant Village Shopping Center was approved as a ballot measure, <br /> Measure X, in November, 1988; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Caffino, Inc. has applied for a major modification to Measure "X" , the approved <br /> development plan for the Pleasant Village Shopping Center, to allow for a drive- <br /> in and take-out establishment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission denied the application at its meeting of July 27, 1994; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, the applicant <br /> submitted an appeal of the decision to the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 20, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this major modification is consistent with the General <br /> Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton and Measure X; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
