CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1636 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED TO THE <br /> ESTABLISHMENT OF SMALL BED AND BREAKFASTS <br /> AND OF BED AND BREAKFAST INNS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Existing Section 18.08.028 (Bar) is renumbered to Section 18.08.027. <br /> <br />Section 2: A new Section 18.08.028 and 18.08.029 are added to Chapter 18.08 of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "18.08.018 Small Bed and Breakfast <br /> <br /> 'Small Bed and Breakfast' means a residential building offering overnight <br /> accommodations to guests on a temporary basis. A Small Bed and Breakfast may <br /> serve meals to guests and shall contain between three and five guest sleeping <br /> rooms, inclusive. <br /> <br /> 18.08.029 Bed and Breakfast Inn. <br /> <br /> 'Bed and Breakfast Inn' means a residential building or buildings offering <br /> overnight accommodations to guests on a temporary basis. A Bed and Bre-?kfast <br /> Inn may serve meals to guests and shall contain between six and fifteen guest <br /> sleeping rooms, inclusive." <br /> <br /> <br />
