CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1594 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING S ECTI ON I ( PART ) OF <br /> ORDINANCE 1342 AND SECTION 11.54.010 OF THE <br /> PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING <br /> SEATEBOARDS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section i (part) of Ordinance 1342 and Section <br /> 11.54.010 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> ~ General Restrictions; Exceptions <br /> A. It is unlawful for any person to ride a <br /> skateboard, roller skates, in-line skates or any other <br /> similar non-motorized device on private property open to <br /> the public which has posted on it, in conspicuous places, <br /> a sign or signs, not less than 17 inches by 22 inches, <br /> with lettering not less than one inch high, which states <br /> that skateboarding on the property is prohibited pursuant <br /> to this ordinance. <br /> <br /> (Reletter existing subsections A and B, to B and C, <br /> otherwise, no change)." <br /> <br /> Section 2: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once <br /> " within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri- <br /> Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete <br /> ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption, <br /> <br /> Section_w__ 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on April 20, 1993. <br /> <br /> <br />
